Nine Steps to Becoming an Umpire

  1. Contact your Club Umpires Convenor, Assocation Convenor or contact the Netball NSW Office

  2. Purchase a current Rule Book

  3. Sit the Rules of Netball Theory Examination

  4. Achieve a pass mark of 70%​ or more

  5. Umpire Accrediation courses are available, converse with your Umpire Convenor about these

  6. There is no age limit to become an umpire

  7. Invest in a good whistle

  8. Invest in a good pair of running shoes
